How to Order a Sputnik

STEP 1 - Choose a model & finish

Our available finishes are Raw Brass, Satin Brass, Chrome and Powder Coated Rubbed Bronze. The Raw Brass finish is unsealed and will develop a patina over time.

STEP 2 - Decide on a total drop

Our Sputnik Chandeliers include a downrod with a hang straight swivel and ceiling canopy. Included in the price is any custom drop up to 24". Any drop over 24" will incur a $2/inch surcharge. Please note that the total drop is the measurement from the ceiling to the lowest point of the chandelier. We will try to accomodate you drop as close as possible.

STEP 3 - Choose your bulbs

All of our Sputniks are made with Candelabra (E12) base sockets. They include G12 (1 1/2" diameter) Clear or White bulbs. You can choose between 10 watt, 15 watt, 20 watt bulbs. For 7.5 watt Starlight bulbs ADD $1.50/bulb (based on your lamp). We also recommend installing a high quality dimmer switch.

ADDITIONAL BULBS AVAILABLE - A box of 25 standard G12 clear or white bulbs is $20; Starlight bulbs are available for a SPECIAL SALE PRICE of $2.50 each (min quantity 18).

STEP 4 - Canopy and/or Swag

All 15", 24" & 36" Sputniks come with a Swivel Canopy which allows for up to a 15 degree ceiling slope.

For ceilings with a greater than 15 degree slope, and all 42" & 57" model Sputniks, we provide a Canopy with two loops and one link of chain (or more chain if needed).

All of our Chrome, Polished Brass & Raw Brass Sputniks are available as a SWAG! 15 foot chain,
18 foot of cord w/plug & floor/table dimmer control included - ADD $50.
For Satin Brass please add an additional $50 ($100 total for Satin Brass Swag).
Please note: A Canopy is NOT provided with Swags unless requested.

STEP 5 - Complete the Practical Props Retail Order Form

Fill out this form including MODEL NUMBER/ITEM you are interested in, the total DROP (if applicable) and BULB PREFERENCE. We will call you at the number provided to complete your order, including providing all shipping and payment options, and take your credit card information over the phone.

STEP 6 - Enjoy your Sputnik!

All fixtures ship FedEx Ground. Shipping costs are as follows (unless otherwise noted on product description):

• 15" baby classic - $25
• 24" classic - $40
• 24" midround - $65
• 36" classic - $75
• 20" globe sputnik - $65

We'll send you an email with a FedEx tracking number when we ship your fixture. A copy of the receipt, as well as some spare bulbs, will be included in your shipment.

RETURN POLICY:

The customer will be responsible for return shipping unless the lamp is defective. Custom finishes or special orders will be non-returnable.
